Freeraser is a Windows application that can be installed in the shortest time possible and can be used by anyone. When run, the program places a Recycle Bin icon on the desktop, which allows removing files and folders by simply dragging them over the icon.

Any file or folder dropped over the icon will be completely erased. Alternatively, the user can remove files and folders by simply selecting them using the right click context menu available in the application. Using the same icon, one can customize the look of the Recycle Bin icon. As such, he can set the transparency level and adjust the size of the icon. Besides that, the file removing mode can be selected from one of the three available. Selecting a more complex destruction mode will make the removal process even safer, but it will take longer to delete a file or a folder.
